Personal History Chance Elliott Pierce, a.k.a. “C.E.P.” or “The C.E.P.” grew up in humble surroundings in Santa Monica, California, the son of a former stock car racer and a nurse. He worked on cars since before leaving diapers and the street racing scene in his home neighborhood offered opportunities to hone his talents at a young age. A street racing crash in his early youth led to his conviction as a juvenile offender. Community service granted him a much deeper sense of responsibility and appreciation of family. Ironically, the crash opened opportunities for Chance to become a legitimate race car driver. He quickly achieved fame for his daring, skill, and charm off the track. He later proved to be one of those rare athletes able to master any challenge. He participated in sporting events from surfing to triathlons with a champion’s ability and zeal. He has since become quite wealthy from sponsorships and endorsements. He put his resources to work improving his community. He is the “Local Kid Done Good” and the “Hometown Darling” everybody has come to love.
