Civilian Faustina (Tina) Cyparissus
Name Faustina (Tina) Cyparissus MD
Position Civilian Contractor
|Species||Human (with latent Seraphyness)|
|Physical Description||Tina is an attractive woman, though she doesn't put in a lot of effort to make herself seem so. She only wears make-up for special occasions, and lets her hair fall in natural, soft waves just past her shoulders. She is of Greek descent, and her olive skin and curvy figure are a tribute that ethnicity.|

Personality & Traits
|General Overview||Tina is a kind-hearted woman from the island of Kalymnos in Greece, who genuinely believes that everyone deserves to be treated equally - especially mutants. As a doctor in the small town of Shady Side, she works with the Townsend Tower to help get mutants to safety while watching over her closest friend, Lauren McArthurs. She is generally fairly laid-back and prefers to be casual, but can become very passionate about the things that are important to her.
Whether by virtue of having been a Seraph in the old world or some other freak stroke of luck, Tina remembers bits and pieces of what life was like in the previous version of the world. It was as though one day she woke up and suddenly remembered things that she knew had never happened to her. She has pieced things together with the help of Bryan, whom she has been in secret contact with.
She has none of her former Seraph abilities, whether they are latent or completely gone is currently unknown. Tina remembers being in love with the Greek god Phobos, and, although a part of her thinks she's crazy for having memories and intense feelings for the gentle god of fear, she has spent most of her personal time secretly searching for him. She is desperate to find him again, but so far her searches have turned up nothing. Although she is bi, she has not had any romantic entaglements since her memories of Phobos resurfaced.
|Strengths & Weaknesses||+ Clever & quick-witted
+ An excellent doctor, with a great bedside manner.
+ Compassionate & caring
- Sometimes gets confused by the past she remembers
- Tina has a crippling fear of certain elements of her old-world past happening again in this world. This is not limited to her own death during Lauren's awakening or the Zombie Apocalypses that destroyed Shady Side twice. She is terrified that she won't be able to stop these things from happening again.
|Ambitions||Her greatest ambition is to find the love of her life, the god Phobos, and to finally marry him like they had intended to do before everything changed.
Tina wants to make sure that mutants are safe, and works with the Townsend Tower to try to save as many of them as she can.
She also wants to make sure that Lauren is safe and comfortable with being a mutant... again.
|Hobbies & Interests||Greek mythology & mutant studies are her primary interests.
Tina has been known to play Worlds of Myth from time to time. She finds it frustrating that there is no way for her to dedicate her character to the god Phobos.
|Languages||Greek, English, Ancient Greek and a little bit of Latin|
|Personal History||Tina's history, as most of the world knows it, is fairly straightforward - she was born on the island of Kalymnos, in Greece, to a fisherman and a housewife. She had an older sister and a younger brother, and their lives were happy and carefree until Tina's father was lost at sea when she was 13. Tina had always been very intelligent, and found the island life Kalymnos offered to be more sheltered and dull than she wanted. She moved to the US to go to medical school and, missing her quiet life by that point, took up residence in Shady Side, Maryland to be near her sister Thalassa.
The thing is, Tina remembers a far different past.
In the Old World, Tina freely worshipped the Greek Gods, who lived among the people. She still worked as a doctor in Shady Side, though she was killed when Lauren awakened. She spent some time as a ghost, fending off a zombie apocalypse in Shady Side with the help of a few residents and a mutant with death-powers named Jezzie.
Tina was resurrected as a Seraph, a golden-skinned, white-winged mutant (not an angel! Don't even suggest that, Seraphs hate the connection) with black tattoos running along her skin. Her Seraph appearance was able to be hidden or revealed as she chose, and although Tina never joined the Tower, she maintained friendships with many of those within it.
After praying to the gods one day to meet someone, Apollo introduced her to Phobos, the god of fear. Unlike how he was depicted in the myths, Phobos was actually very gentle, caring and affectionate - in addition to incredibly attractive - and Tina fell for him instantly. Phobos worked hard to restrain his ability to frighten people and viewed that part of himself as something he wanted to overcome, though he could be terrifying when necessary. Tina spent time with him both on Earth and in Olympus and became friends with the gods. Shortly before she was ripped from the Old World, Phobos proposed to Tina and the two were blissful in their engagement for a few short days.
Over the past few years, Tina has slowly started remembering more and more about the Old World. She remembers her love for Phobos and her heart aches over not being able to find any trace of the gods. She had reached out to the Townsend Tower and specifically Bryan in order to help get awakening mutants to safety, and has set up something of a Mutant Underground to help anyone she can. In return, the Tower has promised to share anything they can find on Phobos or the other gods.
So far, they've turned up next to nothing.
She refuses to ever give up, or to move on.
